What you need to know about the Lung Program Coordinator position:

  • This position is responsible for coordinating optimal patient and family experiences from diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, and follow-up for patients participating in the lung screening and cardiac scoring program. This position is responsible for coordinating day-to-day program activities in collaboration with the physician champion, and Lung Nodule Review Board. It is essential for this role to work cooperatively and to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary framework to actively promote holistic care for patients and families.
  • The Lung Program Coordinator must demonstrate self-direction and initiative. Additionally, the coordinator role will need to identify priorities, and a course of action for managing several activities at once to support the Lung Screening and Cardiac scoring program protocol and Lung Nodule Review Board. This person will be representing CRH as an ambassador and providing education to the community and networking with providers.
  • The Lung Program Coordinator position is a salaried position commensurate with experience.
  • This position will require you to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week.

What is required for this position:

Education and/or Experience

    • Graduate of an accredited program in healthcare required
    • 5 years’ experience in Radiology, Pulmonology, Respiratory Therapy or Nursing required
    • Previous experience with evidence-based practice design and/or project management preferred.
  • Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
    • Current Indiana license in one of the following required:
      • Radiologic Technologist (RT)
      • Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
      • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
    • Current Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license preferred
