What you need to know about this position:
- Broad Imaging Services Department that performs an average of 80,000 exams per year and offering CT Scan, MRI, PET Scan, Ultra Sound, Nuclear Medicine and all digital X-Ray
- Our Imaging Services Department supports Inpatient, Outpatient and Emergency Departments
- The base hourly rate for this position is $27.38. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
- The shift for this position will be 40 hours per week, 7:30AM-4:00PM, working primarily Monday through Friday, but could work some weekends to cover for vacations; on call rotation, and holiday rotations (2 per year)
What is required for this position:
- Associate's degree (A. A.), or equivalent from two-year college, or hospital based school of Radiologic Technology required. Any and all must be approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
- Active X-Ray Machine Operators License issued by the State of Indiana Health Professionals Bureau required or Graduate working under a valid Student Rad Tech License. Attain X-Ray Machine Operators License within 90 day post-graduation.
- Active Registration from American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.) required or obtained within 90 days post-graduation.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
As a part of continuous quality improvement this position may be required to attend education seminars which are remote to the campus of Columbus Regional Hospital. The educational offerings would be relevant to the scope of the position, the employee education, position competency requirements and or current developments within the industry. The required CE credits must be maintained in accordance with the accrediting bodies’ requirements.
