What you need to know about this position:

  • The practice of nuclear medicine technology imaging professionals encompasses multidisciplinary skills, which use rapidly evolving instrumentation, radiopharmaceuticals, and techniques.
  • The responsibilities of the nuclear medicine technologist include, but are not limited to, an empathetic and instructional approach to patient contact, care, and monitoring: the procurement, preparation, quality control, dispensing, dose calibration, administration, and disposal of radiopharmaceuticals” the administration of pharmaceuticals including adjunct oral and IV contrast (under the direction of an authorized user); the performance of quality control procedures” and the operation of imaging, laboratory, and computer instrumentation.
  • The base hourly rate for this position is $34.02. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience and does include shift differentials and premium pay as applicable. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
  • This full time position will require you to work 40 hrs/wk, a day shift of either 6:00AM-4:30PM or 6:30AM-5:00PM, Monday through Friday, with a weekend and holiday rotation.

What is required of this position:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Certification with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) is
required.
Nuclear Medicine License from the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) Medical Radiology Services Program required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
