Director – Emergency Services

What you need to know about this position:

• The Director – Emergency Services is responsible for operational leadership of the Emergency Department and the Ambulance Services (EMS) where they will be driving, supporting and modeling a service-orientation culture focused on employee engagement, quality, patient safety, service excellence and fiscal responsibility.
• Reporting the Executive Vice President and CNO, this position will build long-term relationships with key stakeholders while ensuring and fostering a high level of collaboration within a matrixed team environment.
• Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The base compensation is one portion of the total rewards package including leader incentive, and a comprehensive benefits program is available.
• This position is a salaried position and will require you to work primarily Monday through Friday 8:00a-5:00p but will require hours outside these times to meet the needs of the departments and being on call.

What the successful candidate will bring to this position:

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Progressive growth in leadership within healthcare environment over the past 10 years with at least 5 years of leadership experience
• Prefer:
  • Bachelor's or Masters's Degree in Nursing or relevant healthcare discipline
  • Experience in Emergency Medical Sciences/Paramedics
