What you need to know about the position:
- As an RN you are assigned to units based on your prior experience in caring for patients of similar acuity and needs.
- Our currents needs are – Med Surg Step Down Unit Night shift (7pm-7:30am) including
- Caring for patients on this unit could include respiratory failure with BiPAP, sepsis management, severe electrolyte inbalances, post-surgery management of thoracotomies/VATS, wedge resections, vascular procedures and other surgeries.
- Schedule requirements:
- Required to work at least 36 hours per week, scheduled in 12-hour shifts
- Night shift (7pm-7:30am) and every other weekend
- Required for at least a 6-week commitment, extensions may be available
- Required to participate in weekend and holiday schedules
- Our Staffing Reserve RNs are paid $60 per hour while also being eligible for Overtime, applicable shift differentials and Holiday/Sunday premium pay
- You are an employee of CRH but not eligible for benefits
What is required for this position:
- Upon hire, you must have:
- Associate of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Indiana License or a Multi-State Compact License as a Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Some RN units may require Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
- We are seeking at least 3 years of RN experience caring for similar patients.
- This position requires frequent standing, walking, talking and listening and lifting or moving more than 50 lbs.
