The Cancer Center with Columbus Regional Health is in search of a Full-time BE/BC Radiation Oncology Physician to join their exceptional, well-established team in Columbus, Indiana.

Our Radiation Oncologists are supported by dedicated on-site nurse navigators, nurse practitioners, registered dietitians, an oncology social worker, a full-time board-certified oncology pharmacist, and a patient medication assistance program.

As a physician with the Cancer Center, you join a network connected to many service and specialty centers. You will work closely with the Breast Health Center led by a fellowship-trained Breast Surgeon and dedicated Breast Radiologist. You will participate in a busy lung cancer screening program, working closely with Pulmonologists (including a fellowship-trained interventional pulmonologist) and Cardiothoracic Surgeons to provide the very best lung cancer care in Southeastern Indiana. You will also work with our dedicated team of urologists to provide a range of treatment options for patients with prostate cancer.

Skills Needed

Linear accelerator-based stereotactic radiosurgery, fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy, and stereotactic body radiation therapy (high volume for lung especially with our busy pulmonology practice), standard treatments with IMRT/3D/IGRT. HDR brachytherapy experience would be desirable but is not required.

As a CRHP Physician, you will receive administrative support allowing you to focus on patient care and service.  The hospital provides 24-hour emergency and inpatient services, rehabilitation services, surgical services, and laboratory and diagnostic services. Hospitalists based at Columbus Regional Hospital work as partners with our primary care physicians.  In addition, Physician Liaisons provide support with marketing and new patient referrals.
