What you need to know about this position:

  • As the Cardiac Clinical Data Coordinator you will coordinate all activities related to Core Measures and/or Registries – collecting clinical data of identified patient populations to provide metrics on quality and communicating with physicians and other clinical staff as necessary.
  • In the position you assist in influencing the quality of care by ensuring that the data collected and systems used maintain a high level of data intergrity through education/training of system users and maintaince of the data systems.
  • This position is a salaried position with a starting annualized salary of $48,622 and is commensurate with experience.
  • This position will require you to work primarily Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 7a-3:30p working 32 hours per week but may require you to work hours outside this time to meet the needs of our patients and requirements.
  • With at least 16 hours per week, this position is benefit eligible.

**This position is eligible for partial remote work though attendance at in-person meetings in the hospital is required.

What is required for this position:

  • Upon hire you must have:
    • Associate of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required within 3 years of hire or at least 10 years of direct experience required in an acute care facility utilizing similar skills including the following units:
      • Cardiac Cath
      • Critical/Intensive Care Unit
      • Intermediate Cardiac Care or Medical Surgical Unit
      • Operating Room
      • Recovery Room/PACU
      • Cardiovascular Operating Room
    • Indiana License or a Multi-State Compact License as a Registered Nurse.
  • Within 30 days of hire you must have:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Preferred candidate would have:
    • 2 years of strong clinical experience in cardiac.
    • 2 years of data collection experience.

This position requires frequent standing, walking, talking and listening and lifting or moving more than 50 lbs.
