What you need to know about this position:

  • The Imaging Systems Operational Admin is responsible for daily operations of the Radiology systems including but not limited to Radiological Information System (RIS), Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), and Voice Recognition systems. Coordinates communication, training, systems maintenance and systems development needs to support the radiology image management systems throughout the CRH system. Oversees equipment maintenance. Assists with system testing, and upgrading. This position will serve as a liaison between Radiology, clinical departments and the IS department for any items relating to Radiology data issues. Serves as primary person to contact when a problem arises. Liaison with the software vendor(s) for questions, issues, and operational audits.
  • Imaging Systems Operational Admin positions have an hourly base rate of $33.34, annualized to $69,347 and is commensurate with experience.
  • This position will be onsite in the Radiology department Monday through Friday.
  • Shift for this position will be 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday (may vary based upon project work and support needs) with an on-call rotation.

What is required for this position:

  • Education and/or Experience
    • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a relevant technical discipline.
      • Imaging Informatics degree preferred
  • Experience with Health Information System (HIS), Radiological Information System (RIS), Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), Voice Recognition systems as well as Windows operating system required.
      • Experience with Health Level 7 (HL7) and Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) preferred.
      • Experience with Change Healthcare PACS, Fluency Voice Recognition (VR), and Epic systems preferred
      • Experience working in an image specialty preferred
  • Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
    • Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) certification required within 36 months of hire.
    • Registration with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT), American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT), American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification
      • Board (NMTCB) preferred.
