What you need to know about this position:

• Southern Indiana OBGYN is a busy, established practice with 5 providers.
• 3 Locations (Columbus, North Vernon, and Greensburg). Travel to these sites will be required.
• The practice sees an average of 60 patients per day.
• The staff sonographer functions as a healthcare provider working under the delegated authority of the supervising physician, serves as a medical imaging professional providing clinically relevant information to assist the physician with the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
• Our Ultrasonographer position has a base hourly rate of $29.01 that is commensurate with experience.
• The Days Flex Scheduling position does not have a guarantee of hours, is primarily for the shift of 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday; based upon the needs of the practice and patients.

What is required for this position:

• Upon hire you must have:
  • Graduate of an accredited sonography program.
  • Prior sonography program experience.
  • Sonographer certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
