What you need to know about this position:

  • This Human Resources Specialist position conducts core data collection/data entry functions related to ensuring the completion and compliance of personnel and health files for the entire workforce.
  • This position will be assisting with the entry and auditing of key Human Resources data for accurate payroll processing and reporting each pay period.
  • This position has some interaction with workforce members each day to assist with the completion of data collection and data entry.
  • The HR Specialist position has a base hourly value of $21.60 (the position is exempt/salaried based on 40 hours/week), and candidates with work history experience directly related to the duties of this position can expect to have a higher salary that is commensurate with experience.
  • This position is eligible for partial remote (work from home) status, allowing you to work virtually for > 50% of your work week. You will be required to work in the HR office, located on the main hospital campus in a CRH building directly north of the hospital, several days/week (not necessarily full days each time), for approximately 8-12 hours/week total. Some weeks may require additional onsite resources, requiring more time at the HR office location, in order to complete duties that cannot be accomplished virtually. This position has flexibility to set your daily scheduled work time (within reason) but is expected to be available/working daily Monday-Friday, during day shift/office hours.

What is required for this position:

  • This position requires a balance of personable customer service skills mixed with time/project management skills and a strong eye for details/accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, web-based databases and/or HR Information Systems, is required.
  • High school degree required, with three to five years of Human Resource or office administration experience preferred – or an equivalent combination of education/experience may be considered. For example, a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in HR but no direct HR office work experience may be considered.
