Registered Nurse – Reserve

What you need to know about the position:

• As an RN you are assigned to units based on your prior experience in caring for patients of similar acuity and needs.
• Our currents needs are –
  • ICU Night shift (7pm-7:30am)
    • Experience caring for patients recovering from open-heart surgery 1-2 days post.

We currently do not have additional Reserve needs. We anticipate having additional Reserve needs in late summer 2024; please look for an update on RN Reserve needs in ~June.

• Schedule requirements:
  • Required to work at least 36 hours per week, scheduled in 12-hour shifts
    • Night shift (7pm-7:30am) and every other weekend
    • Day or Night shift every weekend (Sat & Sun) plus a 3rd shift during the week based on the need of the department
  • Required for an 8-week commitment, extensions may be available
  • Required to participate in weekend and holiday schedules
• Our Staffing Reserve RNs are paid $75 per hour while also being eligible for Overtime, applicable shift differentials and Holiday/Sunday premium pay
• You are an employee of CRH but not eligible for benefits

What is required for this position:

• Upon hire, you must have:
  • Associate of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
  • Indiana License or a Multi-State Compact License as a Registered Nurse
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Some RN units may require Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
• We are seeking at least 3 years of RN experience on the specific type of unit you are being considered for.

This position requires frequent standing, walking, talking and listening and lifting or moving more than 50 lbs.
