What you need to know about this position:

  • Develops, implements and maintains revenue generating strategies related to consumer demand, employer alignment and maximizing patient capacity.
  • Collaborates with organization’s service line directors for business development and strategic growth planning efforts, and supports them by transforming business and market data into strategic knowledge, intelligence and opportunities.
  • Builds and optimizes internal and external relationships that cultivate business growth opportunities for CRH, including collaborating with other CRH leaders to identify and cultivate regional employer relationships, community partnerships, and physician relationships.
  • Leads the overall implementation of approved business plans through effective project management processes and is responsible for establishing the measurement system to evaluate business plans metrics.
  • Reports directly to the Vice President, System Finance & Business Planning. Directly supervises staff conducting market data analysis, and coordinates with other leaders at CRH who supervise staff conducting financial analysis.

What the successful candidate will bring to this position:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Healthcare, Business or a related field; Master's degree is preferred.
  • Extensive business experience in Business Development for a health system and/or Multi-Specialty Practice management is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in Business Development in a health system, or in a multi-practice specialty environment with a track record of growth, is required; or may consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Successful project management experience in leading implementation work plans, including experience in pivoting the plans mid-process when business needs demand.
  • While occasional remote access (working from home) may be possible, this position is not considered eligible for remote or hybrid status. Due to regular attendance expectations at in-person/on-site meetings as the preferred method for cultivating business relationships that are critical to the success of the position, qualified candidates must be committed to work onsite at CRH and/or within the Columbus, IN community, on a daily basis. Therefore, local residency (within ~1 hour drive from Columbus) is preferred for the selected candidate in order to maximize community connection opportunities within the CRH primary service area.
