What you need to know about the Grant Analysis Writer – Foundation position:

  • The Foundation Department focuses on support for VIMCare Clinic, our community’s safety net clinic for uninsured and underinsured residents; Health Communities Action Teams; and Columbus Regional Health departments.
  • This position will The Grant Analyst/Writer will submit applications and grant reports for external grant funds using all relevant resources to support existing programs that improve community health in the Columbus Regional Health service area and advance the priorities of Columbus Regional Health. Occasionally, new grant applications for new work may need to be submitted as opportunities present themselves. This position does not provide direct patient care.
  • This position is responsible for networking locally, regionally and nationally to remain current on sources in the field of grants, keeping current with publications pertinent to available funding sources and legislation, developing and maintaining a database of currently funded projects to assist in the tracking and reporting of funds, establishing relationships with funding source contacts to ensure a match of interests of the grant-making entity and the Foundation, ensuring compliance with requirements of grant-making entities and providing necessary follow-up documentation when needed, maintaining master files on grant proposals and relevant funding sources, serving as an in-house resource for staff seeking grants funding and responding to and help prioritize grant opportunities identified by non-staff members, as well as maintaining updated boilerplate organizational descriptions and statistics.
  • The Grant Analysis Writer – Foundation position has a base hourly rate of $23.57 per hour, and is commensurate with experience
  • This position will require you to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 20 hours per week.

What is required for this position:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Experience in grant proposal research and writing with demonstrable results preferred
  • Experience with or educational background in community and/or public health and/or clinical healthcare innovations preferred
