What you need to know about this position:
- A member of the Columbus Regional Health Physicians team, the Doctors Park Family Medicine practice has been awarded recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance Patient-Centered Medical Home Program.
- This position provides clinical leadership and support to the physicians and medical practice. Additionally, the position will continue provision of patient care as dictated by the staffing schedule.
- The base hourly rate for this position is $18.93. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
- This full-time position will require you to work 40 hours a week, 7:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
What is required for this position:
Education and/or Experience
- One of the following required
- Associate's Degree or certificate in Medical Assistant, Nursing or Practical Nurse Program
- Two (2) years related experience and/or training in a physician office setting
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- One of the following required:
- Certification or Registration as a medical assistant through a recognized certification organization such as the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA); American Medical Technologists (AMT); Medical Assistant Certification from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (C AAHEP); National Healthcare Association (NHA), Accreditation Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) required within ninety (90) days of hire.
- Indiana Licensed Practical Nurse License or Multi-State Licensed Practical Nurse License through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) upon hire.
