What you need to know about this position:

  • Setting the tone for a surgery or procedure experience, our Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) is a clinic-based setting to prepare patients for Surgery and Endoscopy whose aim is to eliminate day of procedure cancellations.
  • Supporting over 10,000 cases annually, we utilize both in-person patient visits and patient phone calls to complete a full assessment including medical history, medication reconciliation, labs and anesthesia consultation.
  • This position registers, schedules the TAVR's, reschedules patient appointments, makes charts, manages TRACE, reminder calls for appointments, answers the phone and assists the nursing staff.
  • This position is the front desk person.
  • The Patient Care Technician II is a member of the patient care team, who provides direct and indirect personal patient care services as delegated by an RN assuming responsibility for the patient's plan of care. This includes performing routine nursing service duties and basic nursing procedures necessary to provide for the care, comfort, and safety of patients, as well as phlebotomy and EKG.
  • This position may also assist patients by performing safe transportation and supporting the work of the RN while also improving safety, efficiency, and timeliness of care.
  • The base hourly rate for this position is $17.81. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience and does include shift differentials and premium pay as applicable. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
  • In this position, you would be scheduled to work 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week, considered full-time.
  • With at least 16 hours per week, this position is benefit eligible.

What is required for this position:

  • Upon hire, you must have:
    • Verifiable work experience.
    • Healthcare-related work experience is preferred.
  • Within 30 days of hire you must have:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • While being a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is not required, we encourage CNAs to apply for our Patient Care Tech (PCT) positions.
