What you need to know about this position:

  • Reporting directly to the Vice President – System Finance & Business Planning, this position will lead operational and planning oversight for all financial services activities to include accounts payable, payroll, financial reporting, projecting/planning (both capital and operating), long range financial planning, fixed asset accounting, cost accounting, decision support and analysis of current operations and growth business plans.
  • Has direct oversight managing an expense budget of approximately $2.0M annually and indirect oversight for the operations of the System with an expense performance of $448M annually.
  • This role also has responsibility for annual and ad hoc audits and reviews, tax and cost reporting and third-party reimbursement arrangements while managing a team of 2 direct reports and 20 indirect direct reports.
  • This position is a full-time exempt role (40 hours per week) with expected hours of Monday-Friday 8am-5pm ET though exact hours may vary based on needs of organization and department.
  • The annualized salary range for this position is between $140,878 and $234,977. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
  • With at least 16 hours per week, this position is eligible for benefits.

What the successful candidate will bring to this position:

  • Masters Degree or CPA with seven to ten years of related experience or Bachelors Degree with ten to fifteen years of related experience
  • At least five years of progressive leadership experience
  • Familiarity with healthcare environment and health systems preferred

This position is eligible for partial remote/hybrid status consideration, allowing the leader to work from home for >50% of the time while also committing to work on-site in Columbus, IN as needed/requested by the organization.
