Scheduler Registrar – Precertification Specialist

What you need to know about this position:

• This position works within an outpatient Medical and Radiation Oncology assessment, diagnosis and treatment center for cancer and diseases of the blood.
• Works within the hospital to provide detection, treatment and care services in a community cancer center all under one roof.
• Scheduler Registrar – Precertification Specialists have a base hourly rate of $17.61. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
• Hours are not guaranteed as this is a Day PRN position (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm). This position is not benefit eligible but offers a premium for hours worked and hours are dependent on the needs of the department and our patients.

What is required for this position:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
• Associates Degree in Business is preferred
• Previous experience with the precertification process for cancer detection and treatment procedures
• Flexibility in performing other duties such as reception desk, giving directions, escorting patients and visitors to other areas of the hospital
